Shed dismantling and rebuilding.

For this project I was asked to move a shed from a garden to a nearby allotment.
Dismantling a garden shed and re-erecting it else ware is a relatively straightforward project that most people can manage with basic tools and a bit of care. The process usually involves carefully removing the roof panels, then unscrewing or prising apart the walls, before lifting away the base. Once transported, the shed can be reassembled in the same order, ideally on a level foundation such as paving slabs or timber bearers.
Recycling an old shed in this way has clear benefits: it saves money compared to buying new, reduces waste by giving existing materials a second life, and is often quicker than waiting for a new shed to be delivered. With a little effort, you can give an old shed a fresh purpose, while keeping the project both sustainable and budget-friendly.
